Diy fitting:
In this we will strongly recommend to use
a "Dura-seal " the kind without polyurethane.
Choose any color. Don't mix too much color
it doesn't looks good.
How will we ourselves maintain a floor: -
If you have sand floors then it will remove
all the old finish. Therefore for major part
of the work use the drum sander and for rest
use edge sander.
Clean the floor but don't use liquid for that
unless you will waste your whole day.
Then apply the coat of the Dura-seal. There
are mainly three coats. The first coating
is the thickest coating. Follow the instructions
written on the products. Better to use the
quart size of Dura -seal. There is another
with gallon size that has different formula
but it takes longer to dry. For this coating
you have to give 24 hrs to dry.
With the sand paper you will remove all the
dura-seal from the surface of the floor.
Now we will need 8-12 hours duration between
the second and third coating. Now we will
remove all the dura-seal from the surface
of the floor, if some dura seal remains then
it will stick our shoes.
Once you done this process then it will remain
in good conditions for at least 20-30 years.
